Ντραμς
Τα ντραμς είναι ένα σύνολο (σετ) από τύμπανα, τα οποία παράγουν ήχο με τη βοήθεια ειδικών μηχανισμών που ενεργοποιούνται από τα πόδια του εκτελεστή και από ειδικές ράβδους (μπαγκέτες) που χτυπά ο εκτελεστής με τα χέρια του επάνω στην επιφάνεια των τυμπάνων. Ένα απλό σετ αποτελείται από ταμπούρο, κάσα, χάι χατ, δύο πιατίνια και δύο τομ. Υπάρχουν μεγάλα σετ όπου ο ντράμερ έχει κάσες και στα δύο του πόδια, ενώ στα χέρια του έχει πολλά τομ και πιατίνια. Αυτά τα μεγάλα σετ χρησιμοποιούνται κυρίως στην ροκ μουσική. Σήμερα υπάρχουν ντραμς σετ ηλεκτρονικά που χρησιμοποιούνται κυρίως στις ηχογραφήσεις αλλά και σε συναυλίες. Οι ήχοι που διαθέτουν τα ηλεκτρονικά ντραμς σετ, είναι σήμερα πια αρκετά «πειστικοί», με εξαίρεση ίσως τους ήχους από τα πιατίνια τα οποία όμως συνεχώς βελτιώνονται τα δείγματά τους από τις κατασκευαστικές εταιρίες των μουσικών οργάνων.
